Cable-only TV subscribers are not a dime a dozen, but they’re among the most popular customers for the company.
About 5.4 million people pay for the cable package, according to Kantar Media, and that number is growing.
They pay $45 a month, which is about $30 more than what other customers pay.
They also pay a higher monthly rate than customers pay for a traditional television package.
A typical customer of DirecTV now pays $25 a month for a pay-TV service.
Dish, which also has the largest cable service, offers a monthly subscription service, but the rate for the package is lower than that of other pay-cable providers.
Dish says the pay-as-you-go service is the same as Directv’s.
That’s because Dish offers a bundled deal with its own channel lineup and some channels from other pay TV providers, including Comcast and Verizon.
The bundles cost customers about $15 a month.
Dish said the pay TV bundle was the company’s “most popular offering.”
Dish also offers Directlc, a cable-only service, as an add-on to its cable package.
The add-ons include a $7.99-a-month service that lets subscribers access DirecTv for $7 less.
The new Dish TV, which was introduced in March, is available in about 70 U.S. markets.
The company said it’s also adding satellite channels in the U.K. and Ireland, and a new service that will give users access to channels from Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube and others.
Dish TV is a new product and it has a long way to go to become the standard-bearer of cord-cutters.
In some markets, Dish’s new service will cost about $10 a month or less.
Consumers also can subscribe to other TV providers through a bundle with Dish’s own service.
That includes Dish TV in the Chicago market, which Dish has been offering since last fall.
The Chicago market has about 1.4M subscribers.
Dish has about 7 million subscribers in Chicago.
Dish also said the new service includes a “comprehensive package” of channels from AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, and Dish.
Dish and AT<d also have deals with Time Warner Cable and Direc TV.
AT>d also has a deal with Comcast, but its own TV service is still being rolled out.
Dish is rolling out a new package that offers the same basic service at a lower price.
Dish’s offer is aimed at people who want to cut the cord, but there are also those who want access to more content.
Consumers who don’t want to pay for content might prefer Dish’s offering, which has about one-third the channels as Direcs offering.
The cost of Dish’s service has grown faster than any other traditional cable service.
For the past several years, Dish said, its basic package has cost about the same to customers.
Dish didn’t disclose the average cost for its service in each market.
The average cost is higher for the Chicago area, which averages about $11 a month to customers and $11.50 for Dish’s package.
Dish plans to expand its Chicago service to a second area in 2019.
Dish hasn’t announced a price for its Chicago package.
